I spent my first night way from the kids in over a year the weekend before Thanksgiving. One of my good friends from graduate school got married so I flew to Austin for the wedding. It was really nice to miss the kids. I kept leaving things like nail polish and pens on the floor just because I could.

It was so fun that you were able to come! I wish I'd known about the nail polish and pens--I would've given you some as a party favor. ;) Looking forward to seeing you in a month!
